ผลงานด้านทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาในพระบาท สมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวมีอยู่มากมาย ผลงานส่วนหนึ่งที่ทรง จดทะเบียนหรือจดแจ้งไว้ต่อกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา มีหลายประเภท ดังนี้
ด้านสิทธิบัตรและอนุสิทธิบัตร พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงได้รับการถวาย การรับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรและอนุสิทธิบัตร รวมทั้งสิ้น 11 ฉบับ คือ
(1) สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์เลขที่ 3127 ถวายการรับ จดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 2 กุมภาพันธ์ 2536 เรื่อง เครื่องกลเติมอากาศที่ผิวน้ำ หมุนช้าแบบทุ่นลอย (กังหัน น้ำ ชัยพัฒนา) เป็นเครื่องกลเติมอากาศที่ใช้ในการเติม ออกซิเจนลงในน้ำ ที่ระดับผิวน้ำ (2) สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์เลขที่ 10304 ถวาย การรับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 19 เมษายน 2544 เรื่องเครื่องกลเติมอากาศแบบอัดอากาศและดูดน้ำ เป็น เครื่องกลเติมอากาศใช้ในการเติมออกซิเจนลงในน้ำ ที่ระดับ ลึกลงไปใต้ผิวน้ำ จนถึงด้านล่างของแหล่งน้ำ
(3) สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์เลขที่ 10764 ถวายการ รับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2544 เรื่องการใช้น้ำ มันปาล์มกลั่นบริสุทธิ์เป็นน้ำ มันเชื้อเพลิง สำ หรับเครื่องยนต์ดีเซล เป็นการใช้น้ำ มันปาล์มกลั่นบริสุทธิ์ เป็นเชื้อเพลิงสำ หรับเครื่องยนต์ดีเซลแทนน้ำ มันดีเซล
(4) อนุสิทธิบัตรเลขที่ 841 ถวายการรับจดทะเบียน อนุสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 11 ตุลาคม 2545 เรื่อง การใช้น้ำ มัน ปาล์มกลั่นบริสุทธิ์เป็นน้ำ มันหล่อลื่นสำ หรับเครื่องยนต์ สองจังหวะ เป็นการใช้น้ำ มันปาล์มกลั่นบริสุทธิ์ทดแทน น้ำ มันหล่อลื่นที่ได้จากน้ำ มันปิโตรเลียมสำ หรับเครื่องยนต์ สองจังหวะ (เช่น เครื่องรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ เครื่องสูบน้ำ เป็นต้น)
(5) สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์เลขที่ 13898 ถวายการ รับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤศจิกายน 2545 เรื่อง การดัดแปรสภาพอากาศเพื่อให้เกิดฝน (ฝนหลวง) เป็นกรรมวิธีการทำ ฝนหลวงที่มีการทำ ฝนทั้งในระดับเมฆ อุ่นที่ระดับต่ำ กว่า 1 หมื่นฟุต และเมฆเย็นที่ระดับสูงกว่า 1 หมื่นฟุต พร้อมๆ กัน ซึ่งทรงเรียกว่า “ซุปเปอร์แซนวิช” (6) สิทธิบัตรการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์เลขที่ 14859 ถวายการรับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 10 มิถุนายน 2546 เรื่องภาชนะรองรับของเสียที่ขับออกจากร่างกาย เป็นภาชนะที่ทรงออกแบบไว้เป็นการเฉพาะสำ หรับรองรับ ปัสสาวะของผู้ป่วย
(7) สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์เลขที่ 16100 ถวายการ รับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวันที่ 27 มกราคม 2547 เรื่อง อุปกรณ์ควบคุมการผลักดันของเหลว เป็นเครื่องยนต์ที่ขับ ดันน้ำ เพื่อใช้ในการขับเคลื่อนเรือ (8) สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์เลขที่ 22637 ถวายการ รับจดทะเบียนสิทธิบัตรเมื่อวัน ที่ 5 ตุลาคม 2550 เรื่อง กระบวนการปรับปรุง ส ภ า พ ดิ น เ ป รี้ ย ว เพื่อให้เหมาะแก่ การเพาะปลูก (โครงการ แ ก ล้ ง ดิน)
เป็นการปรับปรุงสภาพดินเปรี้ยวที่ไม่สามารถเพาะปลูกพืช ได้ ให้เป็นดินที่มีสภาพที่เหมาะสมสำ หรับปลูกพืชต่างๆ ได้ โดยใช้วิธีการเลียนแบบธรรมชาติเพื่อแกล้งให้ดินมีสภาพ เปรี้ยวจัดก่อน แล้วทำ การชะล้างความเปรี้ยวของดิน และ ทำ การปรับสภาพดินให้เหมาะแก่การเพาะปลูกต่อไป (9) ระบบปรับปรุงคุณภาพน้ำ ด้วยรางพืชร่วมกับ เครื่องกลเติมอากาศ สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์ เลขที่ 29091 ได้ดำ เนินการจดสิทธิบัตร เมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2553 ระบบปรับปรุงคุณภาพน้ำ ด้วยรางพืชร่วมกับเครื่องกลเติม อากาศ วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อที่จะแก้ไขปัญหาน้ำ เสียในชุมชน (10) เครื่องกำ เนิดไฟฟ้าพลังงานจลน์ สิทธิบัตร การประดิษฐ์ เลขที่ 29162 ได้ดำ เนินการจดสิทธิบัตร เมื่อ วันที่ 19 พฤศจิกายน 2553 (11) โครงสร้างเครื่องกำ เนิดไฟฟ้าพลังงานจลน์ สิทธิบัตรการประดิษฐ์ เลขที่ 29163 ได้ดำ เนินการ จดสิทธิบัตร เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤศจิกายน 2553 ทั้งนี้ 3 ผลงานล่าสุดนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อช่วยพัฒนา สิ่งแวดล้อมให้มีคุณภาพดีขึ้น
His Majesty the King owns a great variety of intellectual property works. His Majesty’s works for which registration has been effected by the Department, or notification of right-information has been given to the Department, for legal protection are enumerated below. Patents and Petty Patents His Majesty the King has been granted h 11 patents and petty patents, as follows:
(1) Patent No. 3127, granted on 2nd February 1993, for the invention of the Low-Speed Surface Aerator (the “Chaipattana Aerator”), used for water oxygenisation at a water surface;
(2) Patent No. 10304, granted on 19th April 2001, for the invention of the Water-Air Pump Type, used for water oxygenisation at a deep level beneath water down to the bottom of the water source;
(3) Patent No. 10764, granted on 26th July 2001, for the invention of the process for the use of R.B.D. Palm Olein as fuel for diesel engines (bio-diesel oil), as to which R.B.D. Palm Olein is to be used as an alternative energy for diesel engines in place of the consumption of diesel oil;
(4) Petty Patent No. 841, granted on 11th October 2002, for the invention of the process for the use of R.B.D. Palm Olein as a lubricant for two-stroke engines, as to which R.B.D. Palm Olein is to be used as an alternative lubricant, in place of normal lubricants derived from petrochemical products, for two-stroke engines (e.g. motorcycles, water pumps, etc.);
(5) Patent No. 13898, granted on 29th November 2002, for the invention of the weather modification for rainmaking technology (Royal Rain), which is a technology for making royal rains through modifying the weather from warm clouds at an altitude below 10,000 feet and cold clouds at an altitude over 10,000 feet simultaneously – the so-called “Supersandwich” technique”;
(6) Patent No. 14859, granted on 10th June 2003, for the design of a container taking human body’s waste i.e. a container taking urinal waste from patients;
(7) Patent No. 16100, granted on 27th January 2004, for the invention of the Liquid Driving Controller, which is an engine for a short-tailed boat;
(8) Patent No. 22637, granted on 5th October 2007, for the invention of the process for adjusting acid soil into cultivatable soil (the ‘Soil Bullying’ Project), as to which acid soil incapable of cultivation is to be “bullied” by being allowed to be in the most acid condition before its acid condition is subsequently cleansed so that the soil becomes suitable for cultivation;
(9) Patent No. 29091, granted on 9th November 2010, for the invention of the process for water treatment through trough plants in conjunction with an aerator – a wise way of solving water pollution in the community;
(10) Patent No. 29162, granted on 19th November 2010, for the invention of a kinetic-energy generator;
(11) Patent No. 29163, granted on 19th November 2010, for the invention of a kinetic-energy generator structure. In effect, the three last-mentioned inventions are intended to improve the environmental quality.
